Since we began in 1989, BusinessVoice has led our industry in many ways: custom programs, award-winning work and the use of Humor On Hold, to name a few.
Now, one of our own has been named the first recipient of a prestigious honor.
On April 10th, 2026, Chief Creative Officer Scott Greggory became the initial inductee of Bowling Green State University’s School of Media and Communication Hall of Fame.
The Hall was established to honor alumni who have made significant contributions to their media or communication-related field through excellence, innovation and leadership, while inspiring the next generation of professionals.
Scott has been a creative leader with our agency since 1993. He’s a copywriter, voiceover talent, producer and director who leads our team of writers and works with select clients.
Over the years, Scott’s “who cares?” philosophy has become one of the foundations of our work. It’s an audience-focused question that encourages all our agency’s creatives to look deeper at the value of their content before publishing.
After majoring in radio, TV and film, Scott graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree.
“I chose BGSU because of the school’s broadcasting facilities and the many opportunities I’d have to get my feet wet right away,” said Scott. “I spent every moment I could working at the radio stations and in the production studio learning my craft.”
By his sophomore year, Scott was working professionally at a Toledo radio station. “I had to bum rides, borrow cars and sleep on station lobby couches to make it all happen, but I was so excited to be working in radio that the added effort was more than worth it.”
Hall of Fame nominees are evaluated on several factors:
• Have they achieved distinction in their field through awards, leadership roles or significant creative contributions?
• Have they pioneered new ideas, methods, technologies or creative works that have had a measurable effect on their field or audience?
• Have they demonstrated exceptional leadership in professional organizations, industry associations, or civic roles?
• Have they used media and communication expertise to positively influence communities, advocate for important causes or advance the public good?
• Have they demonstrated an ongoing commitment to BGSU?
