How to use this calculator

Use a decimal point for hold times that are shorter than one minute. For instance, enter 15 seconds as .25. Enter 30 seconds as .5. Enter 45 seconds as .75.

Enter data that are as accurate as possible. Consider if you have more than one location, be sure to include the hold time for all of them and that callers may be put on hold more than once per call.
